VO₂ Assessment
A VO₂ assessment measures how your body uses oxygen as activity intensity changes. By capturing real-time breathing and oxygen-consumption data during guided movement, it provides a clearer view of aerobic capacity, energy use, and your response to exertion. These findings can support more informed decisions about training intensity, endurance, and recovery. Through BioElite Health, Veritome helps interpret the results in context so the assessment becomes more meaningful than a standalone measurement.
Why VO₂ Assessment Matters
A VO₂ assessment shows how your oxygen use and breathing response change as physical effort increases. The findings can offer perspective on aerobic capacity, efficiency across different intensities, and the points at which exertion begins to place greater demands on your system. This information supports more informed decisions about training intensity, endurance development, pacing, and recovery—based on your measured response rather than assumptions alone.

What to Expect During Your VO₂ Assessment
Your session is a guided assessment performed during physical activity.
1. Comfortable SetupYou will be fitted with a lightweight mask that captures breath-by-breath information while allowing you to move and breathe naturally.
2. Initial MeasurementThe assessment begins at a low level of activity to observe your breathing and oxygen use before exertion increases.
3. Progressive ActivityYour activity level will gradually increase under guidance. Throughout this stage, the system records how your oxygen use and breathing response change at different intensities. The result is a detailed view of your physiological response across the assessment—not simply a single measurement taken at rest.
How VO₂ Findings Inform Your BioElite Protocol
A VO₂ result is most useful when it is understood as part of your broader health picture. Veritome, the intelligence platform powering BioElite Health’s interpretation, evaluates your findings alongside other relevant information—such as your exercise history, symptoms, nutrition, body composition, sleep, stress, recovery, medications, supplements, health history, and current goals.
When prior assessments are available, changes over time can add further perspective. This structured interpretation helps BioElite Health identify which findings are most relevant to your priorities and where training, recovery, or lifestyle strategies may deserve attention within your BioElite Protocol. The result is not a diagnosis based on a single assessment, but practical decision support grounded in your data, circumstances, and progress.
